SHARE is an NHS Research Scotland initiative to establish a register of adults who consent to the access and use of their electronic health records in order to identify them as potentially eligible for research projects. 

This year people who register for SHARE can also give consent for their blood which is left over after routine blood tests to be used for medical research instead of being thrown away.
