What you'll learn

By the end of this course you will learn how to:

  • Obtain a good overview of the major theoretical and practical approaches to health economics in the UK;
  • Understand the relationship between clinical trials and health economics, and between health economics and clinical implementation on the ground;
  • 'Know what you don't know' - understand when and where speaking to a health economist might be valuable. 

Who the course is for

This half-day course is designed for those working in clinical research who want to gain a foundational understanding of health economics.

This course is designed for academic, public sector and charity workers and we are offering it at a discounted price for people working in those sectors.
