Data Management Planning

About the course

This 2-hour course introduces the basic components of a good Data Management Plan (DMP) and provides step-by-step guidance on how to complete a DMP for a Clinical Trial research project. The course draws on MRC templates and guidance as well as those from other relevant funders such as Cancer Research UK and the Wellcome Trust.

Before the course, attendees will need to register on DMPonline (https://dmponline.dcc.ac.uk/) as they will be drafting a DMP using this online platform.

This course will be delivered online via MS Teams.

  • Know how to use Data Management Planning online
  • Draft a basic DMP that can be completed after the course

This course is aimed at clinical researchers and research teams who will be involved in the data management of clinical research.

This course is designed for academic, public sector and charity workers and we are offering it at a discounted price for people working in those sectors.
